An overview of Avila and what we did for them
We started with designing their labels
We then started modelling their products based on their specifications and container type information.
We then created a set and textured the models to reflect their real products.
We also created bundle products that included box packaging for their bigger offers.
Zoe
She / her; green / blue. Zoe is a designer, daydreamer and self-anointed snack queen. Once described as “so awkward she’s charming” by a friend, there isn’t a day that goes by without her accidentally slipping in an innuendo. In winter, she hibernates in a blanket of books and netflix, but by late spring emerges with her trusty birkenstocks, ready to go on photography adventures and socialise with the neighbourhood cats. If she were a pokemon she would without a doubt be Pikachu, but a buzzfeed quiz has determined her to be a Magikarp. She’s a firm believer that buzzfeed quizzes cannot be trusted, under any circumstances.
Iulia
She / her. Iulia is Rusty Monkey’s animation, illustration and 3D expert. Responsible for making everything beautiful, she also dabbles in graphic design and UX design. Among her credits is an animated music video for local parody heavy metal band Evil Scarecrow. A talented artist, she showcases her work on her Instagram channel. She usually spends most of her time in some random corner of the house with a drawing tablet and a pen, scribbling away. Cat obsessed. Professional house plant killer. Autumn lover. Maker of things.
PROJECT TIMELINE
The Client
Avila Herbals were a hemp vitamins and supplements company from America who believed in using their scientific knowledge and passion for discovery to help promote healthy, happy, stress-free lifestyles.
The Goal
Create realistic product renders for their website in lieu of product photography.
The Solution
We developed their product labels for each type, and established a 3D photography style, maintaining a consistent, aesthetically pleasant look to their product renders.

We Said
Given that the client was in America, it would've been a pain to photograph their products with us due to product shipping. They also wanted to save the mental space it would've taken to find a local photography studio for their product launches. We were so glad we were able to help with 3D, and create consistent imagery with efficiency.
The Outcome
Consistent, clear and aesthetically pleasing product renders that were ready on time and within budget for their new launches and website refresh.
